Kumpel & Hütte Service is more than a place to live — it is a real home. Not a care home. Not a hotel. Not an anonymous shared flat. Instead, a familiar community for people who want to age together rather than alone — with dignity, humour and practical everyday support.

At Kumpel und Hütte we create a home for people who want to keep living independently despite needing care — in a safe, caring community. Our concept is for people with care grade 2 or higher who need support in daily life but do not want a traditional nursing home.

    With us, privacy and community go hand in hand. Every home offers room for personal comfort and spaces to come together: a living kitchen, a cosy living room, a games or reading corner and a green garden invite conversation. You can find out what amenities await you in our offers.

    Our flats are not fully barrier-free, but they are practical for everyday life and carefully fitted out. Walk-in showers, handrails and well-planned lighting support orientation, comfort and safety. So self-determined living remains possible — with furnishings that support without constraining.

    Every room can be set up to your own wishes with familiar personal belongings, or furnished by us by arrangement. That creates a personal retreat that truly feels like home.

    Wi-Fi, home emergency call systems by arrangement and solid digital basics provide connection and safety. Many solutions can be tailored individually — for more comfort in everyday life.

Who is Kumpel und Hütte for?
Our shared homes are for people with care grade 2 who want to live safely, affordably and in company — with as much support as needed and as much self-determination as possible.
How much independence do residents keep?
Self-determination is one of our core values. Our residents shape their everyday life themselves and decide where and when they want support.
What activities are offered?
Throughout the year we organise small celebrations and outings: barbecue evenings, birthday parties, cinema and theatre visits as well as cultural events — for more joy of life and community.

Is living at Kumpel und Hütte affordable?
Yes, we place great importance on affordable housing. Our goal is to make high-quality, safe living accessible to as many people as possible.

In addition to living space we offer everyday support, household help, care, organisation of activities, accompaniment when needed and a warm, stable environment.
