In our shared home everyone has their own room. On top of that there are generous spaces that belong to everyone. At breakfast in the living kitchen, in the garden or over a games evening, everyday life is shaped together. What you join in with and when you would rather have some peace is up to you.
Spaces that connect
Our house community creates a warm, familiar atmosphere where people who need support feel safe, seen and welcome. Our team is there when help is needed: unobtrusive, humane and reliable. Nursing care, housekeeping and personal support can come from one source. But at the centre is not nursing, it is life: taking part, sharing and the good feeling of belonging.

At Kumpel & Hütte, relationships grow. With small outings, celebrations, shared hobbies and plenty of warmth, life stays active and fulfilling. The people who live here help shape everyday life, and we are there with them, with heart.
How we differ from a care home
Five things make our senior shared home a real alternative to a care home:
- A home, not an institution: You live in a family-like shared home, with your own room and your own furniture.
- Right of the house: With us, the shared home holds the right of the house. You decide who provides care and help, how much, how often and for how long. You also decide who becomes a new housemate. We step in only if that is what you want.
- Your day, your rhythm: Every shared activity is an invitation, not an obligation.
- Clear costs: Only the all-in rent is mandatory. Housekeeping and personal support are optional. If needed, the social welfare office can cover the rent, and the care insurance can cover nursing care and everyday support. No hidden costs.
- Family stays close: Relatives are welcome and closely involved.
