3. Collection and storage of personal data

When you visit our website, the following data is automatically collected by the server:

• IP address of the device
• Date and time of access
• Pages visited and files requested
• Browser and operating system used

This data is used solely to ensure smooth operation and to improve our offer and is not used to draw conclusions about your person.

4. Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the form including the contact data you provide there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

5. Cookies and your consent

Our website itself does not set any cookies. We store your choice in the cookie notice in your browser’s local storage so that we do not have to ask you again on every page. The entry contains only your choice and when you made it, is not sent to us and is strictly necessary for this purpose (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). After twelve months we ask you again.

We only load Google Analytics (section 6) once you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. As long as you have not agreed, no data is transferred to Google.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page or directly here. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

6. Google Analytics

If you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). It shows us how our website is used, for example which pages are visited and for how long, so that we can improve it.

For this, Google Analytics sets two cookies whose names begin with “_ga”. They contain a randomly generated identifier and are stored for up to two years after your last visit. Among other things, the pages visited and the times, the website you came from, your approximate location (country and city), browser, operating system, device type and screen size are processed. Google uses your IP address only to determine your approximate location; Google Analytics does not store it. We do not use the advertising features of Google Analytics. Data linked to the identifier is deleted after two months.

Google processes the data on our behalf; we have concluded a data processing agreement with Google for this (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so the European Commission’s adequacy decision applies to the transfer (Art. 45 GDPR).

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie settings”. More in Google’s privacy policy.

7. Legal bases for data processing

Your data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) when it concerns processing enquiries or providing our services. We use Google Analytics only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG).

You have the right at any time to:

10. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services. The new privacy policy then applies to your next visit.
